Baseball Recap: Hebron Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Hebron Christian had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let Franklin County get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. Hebron Christian not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 17th.

Dean Livingston made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Hebron Christian is 7-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-11 otherwise. Livingston was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Barrett Bruce was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brodie Lewis, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Hebron Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Franklin County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-7 record this season.

Hebron Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against Franklin County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
