Soccer Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson lost against North Atlanta back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Jaguars came up short against the Warriors, falling 5-2. While losing is never fun, Jackson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 164th, while North Atlanta are ranked fourth).

Camron Dover and Sawyer Cent scored both of Jackson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Jackson and nudges their season record down to 8-7. As for North Atlanta, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Jackson will face off against Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Atlanta, they have already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Cross Keys on the 18th.
