Softball Recap: Douglas County Takes a Loss

Douglas County played against Rome on Wednesday and lost via forfeit.

Douglas County is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12. As for Rome, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12.

Coming up, Douglas County will challenge New Manchester at 5:30 p.m. on October 2. As for Rome, they will take on Coosa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.35 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
