Soccer Game Preview: La Costa Canyon vs. Mission Hills

La Costa Canyon will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Friday, then bounced right back against San Pasqual on Saturday. La Costa Canyon was the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over San Pasqual.

Meanwhile, Mission Hills put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let St. Ignatius College Preparatory onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Grizzlies were the better team in the second half.

Mission Hills pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four games. As for La Costa Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 3-1-1.
