Kewaunee extended their winning streak to 20 on Friday, bumping them up to 20-0. They came out on top against the Bonduel Bears by a score of 11-6. The Storm have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Jackson Walecka tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025.

At the plate, Micah Vanness was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Blake Temme was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

As for Bonduel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-5 record this season. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this contest were averaging 3.6 runs allowed.

On Bonduel's side, Jack Zernicke made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Kewaunee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-5 win against Coleman on the 18th. As for Bonduel, they have also already played their next game, a 10-5 victory against Manawa on the 18th.
