Soccer Recap: Macon County Starts Season with Win on the Road

Macon County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Dougherty Trojans 10-2 on Thursday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Dougherty and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Macon County will host Dooly County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dougherty, they will welcome Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
