Football Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chesapeake fell victim to Woodlawn and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Warriors. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Bay Hawks couldn't quite close it out.

Dakari Noble threw for 42 yards on seven of 14 attempts.

A big part of Woodlawn's win came down to the chemistry between Tristan McLendon and his top target Marques McGhee. McLendon threw for 307 yards and four TDs while completing 81% of his passes while McGhee picked up 69 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Chesapeake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Woodlawn, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Chesapeake will head out to take on Sparrows Point at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bay Hawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Woodlawn, they will be playing at home against Randallstown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
