Basketball Recap: Cambridge Comes Up Short

Cambridge was the 55-52 winner over Belleville when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Cambridge Bluejays received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 49-35 to the Belleville Wildcats.

Cambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Belleville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Cambridge and Belleville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Cambridge (ranked 102nd) will meet Marshall (ranked 309th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Belleville will take on Waterloo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday up 374 places (60 vs. 434).
