Baseball Recap: Calvary Christian Takes a Loss

Calvary Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-3 to the Lincoln-Way East Griffins.

Calvary Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Houston, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Calvary Christian now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Lincoln-Way East, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian will venture away from home to take on Shaw at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Lincoln-Way East, they will head out to square off against Andrew at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
