Soccer Game Preview: St. Raphael Academy vs. East Greenwich + How To Watch

The St. Raphael Academy Saints are taking a road trip to challenge the East Greenwich Avengers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Raphael Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, St. Raphael Academy came up short against North Providence and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Greenwich). They put the hurt on Tiverton with a sharp 6-1 victory on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for East Greenwich considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

They hit Tiverton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Adam El-Bizri (2), Wyatt Gelzhiser (2), Donovan Martin, and Andre Goretoy.

The win made it two in a row for East Greenwich and bumps their season record up to 6-1-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two matches. As for St. Raphael Academy, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
