University Prep came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Ashland Grizzlies. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Audrey Berg paced University Prep's offense, picking up 12 kills. Berg got some help from Addison Maikranz and her 20 assists. Berg also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rylee Villano, each putting up two.

University Prep's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Ashland, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

University Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Yreka on the 4th. As for Ashland, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Grants Pass on the 4th.
