Soccer Game Preview: Righetti vs. Santa Ynez

Righetti hasn't had much luck against Santa Ynez recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Righetti's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Santa Ynez's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Righetti is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Pioneer Valley, who was ranked 16th at the time (Righetti was ranked third). The Warriors won by a goal and slipped past the Panthers 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Righetti sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Santa Ynez's offense. They fell just short of Dos Pueblos by a score of 1-0 last Thursday.

Righetti's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Santa Ynez, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
