Recap: Malibu Sharks vs. Fillmore Flashes

The Malibu Sharks waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Fillmore 34-20. That's another feather in the cap for Malibu, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Casey Ovsiowitz was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 11 points, ten rebounds, and nine blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played.

Malibu pushed their record up to 9-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Fillmore, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Nordhoff the next time they take the court. Malibu will head out to face Nordhoff at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Fillmore will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
