Softball Recap: Byng Snags Tenth Win in Last 13 Games

Byng got themselves on the board against Tupelo on Monday, but Tupelo never followed suit. They blew past the Tigers 12-0. Considering the Pirates have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Byng is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Tupelo, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-18.

Byng does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tupelo, they will welcome Stonewall at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
