Basketball Recap: Western Takes a Loss

Western won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They came up short against the Bolsa Grande Matadors, falling 45-21. The Pioneers have struggled against the Matadors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Western's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Bolsa Grande, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Western will host Rancho Alamitos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bolsa Grande, they will head out to take on Saddleback at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
