If North Forsyth was riding high fresh off their 12-4 takedown of River Ridge on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders fell just short of the Cambridge Bears by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

North Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Cambridge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Forsyth will challenge Lumpkin County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cambridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
