Soccer Recap: Mt. Zion Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

After failing to score in their last game, Mt. Zion made sure to put some goals up on the board against North Clayton on Tuesday. They blew past the Eagles 7-1. Luis Ramirez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Mt. Zion's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for North Clayton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Zion will challenge Morrow at 7:30 p.m. on April 3. As for North Clayton, they will take on South Atlanta at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. North Clayton is facing South Atlanta at the right time seeing as South Atlanta is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
