Soccer Recap: Sioux City West Comes Up Short

Sioux City West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs, falling 7-1. Sioux City West were not able to make up for their loss to Denison-Schleswig from their previous meeting back in April of 2016.

Sioux City West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Denison-Schleswig, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sioux City West will venture away from home to challenge Sergeant Bluff-Luton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Denison-Schleswig, they will head out to take on Glenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
