            Baseball Recap: Brentwood War Eagles vs. Edmund Burke Academy Spartans        
        
		
        
        
            If Brentwood was riding high  fresh off their  11-1 takedown of Windsor Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Brentwood War Eagles came up short against  the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans on Monday, falling  10-3. The War Eagles haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
  Abe Williams made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Riley Helton, who  went 2-for-3 with one  RBI.
Brentwood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Edmund Burke Academy,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brentwood will welcome John Milledge Academy  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. John Milledge Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game  this season. As for Edmund Burke Academy, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Monsignor Donovan Catholic  at 4:00  p.m. This will  be Edmund Burke Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
