Soccer Game Preview: Edison vs. Washington Union

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Edison duke it out with the Washington Union at 6:00 p.m. on Friday... Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Edison's offense. They lost 4-0 to Clovis North on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Washington Union can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They and Fowler finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Panthers' first draw of the season.

Washington Union's draw makes their record 3-5-1 this season. As for Edison, they now have a losing record at 1-2-2.

Edison skirted past Washington Union 3-2 when the teams last played back in November of 2023. Will Edison repeat their success, or does Washington Union have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
