Softball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Gets the Win

Peachtree Ridge's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Dunwoody Wildcats. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Peachtree Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-17 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Dunwoody, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-5.

Looking ahead, Peachtree Ridge will face off against North Gwinnett at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Dunwoody does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
