Johnston came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Fort Dodge Dodgers with a sharp 11-3 victory. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dodgers, too.

Johnston's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Fort Dodge, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnston will head out to face off against Southeast Polk at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Dodge, they will face off against Ames at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Little Cyclones' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Dodgers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
