Bayard Rustin had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-41 win over the Unionville Longhorns. For the Golden Knights, this counts as revenge for the 43-40 victory the Longhorns walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-2. As for Unionville, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.

The future could be bright for both Bayard Rustin and Unionville: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Similarly, Unionville will look to extend Kennett's six-game losing streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
