Recap: Rocklin Thunder vs. Laguna Creek Cardinals
The Rocklin Thunder scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Laguna Creek 68-28 on the road. Considering Rocklin has won five matches by more than 23 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Rocklin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bianca Slone out in front who scored ten points along with six rebounds and five assists. Slone has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Gisele Negueloua was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals.
Rocklin has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Laguna Creek, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Rocklin and Lincoln will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Laguna Creek will be home for the holidays to greet Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
