Langston Hughes came into this matchup off a tough 13-run loss on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Fayette County by a score of 12-10 on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Darien Whitfield was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Steven Rojas, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Langston Hughes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for New Manchester, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
