Kennedy extended their home winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Diego Montes. The Cougars claimed a resounding 42-7 victory over the Panorama Pythons with plenty of help from Montes, who threw for 193 yards and three TDs on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 53 yards and one touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Francisco Ceja was another key player, picking up 115 receiving yards and a pair of scores. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Panorama, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kennedy will square off against rival Sylmar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Montes and Tim Tanner Jr. Meanwhile, Panorama is set to face off against their familiar foe San Fernando at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
