Volleyball Recap: First Flight Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If First Flight was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hertford County on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Nighthawks fell just short of the Currituck County Knights by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Nighthawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

First Flight started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-10.

First Flight's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-10. As for Currituck County, they pushed their record up to 8-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
