Soccer Recap: Shea Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Shea was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portsmouth Patriots. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Shea couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Christopher Guaman, which was the first he's scored this season.

Shea's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Portsmouth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-10-2.

Coming up, Shea will head out on the road to face off against South Kingstown at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Portsmouth, they will welcome Cumberland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
