Softball Recap: Forest City Takes a Loss

Forest City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Hancock Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by just one run.

Forest City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for West Hancock, their victory ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-15.

Coincidentally, Forest City and West Hancock will both be playing Belmond-Klemme the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
