Baseball Recap: First Presbyterian Day Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

First Presbyterian Day and Brookstone squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but First Presbyterian Day had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

First Presbyterian Day's defeat dropped their record down to 32-5. As for Brookstone, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season.

While First Presbyterian Day had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
