Basketball Recap: Rockledge Comes Up Short

Rockledge was the 59-39 winner over Florida Prep when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell 64-54 to the Falcons on Monday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Rockledge lost, don't look at Brady Kearns. Despite the final result, he made all 7 shots he took racking up 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Ford, who posted 11 points.

Rockledge now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Florida Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Rockledge will square off against Southeastern Prep Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Florida Prep, they will face off against Harmony at 1:45 p.m. on Friday.
