Recap: Tulelake Honkers vs. Tournament Opponent
On Saturday, Tulelake had to suffer through a rough 72-41 loss at the hands of Tournament Opponent. Tulelake has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the defeat, Tulelake saw an underclassman step up: Na'Tali Idrogo scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Perez, who scored 5 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Tulelake's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tournament Opponent, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 15-36 record.
Tulelake will head out on the road to face off against Lost River at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tournament Opponent, they will be playing at home against Winston-Salem Christian National on Sunday.
