Football Recap: Albuquerque Falls Short Against Ranked Los Lunas

Albuquerque faced Los Lunas in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The game between the Bulldogs and the Tigers didn't end well, with the Bulldogs falling 38-24. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, Albuquerque still got an impressive performance from Alberto Landeros, who rushed for 69 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and one TD. Landeros was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 51 yards.

While Albuquerque came up short, they sure didn't make it easy for Los Lunas: they limited their QB to completion percentage of just 43.5%.
