While Luella put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Cedar Grove. The Lions were the clear victors by a 22-0 margin over the Saints. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 11 matchups by 15 runs or more so far this season.
Zaena Harris made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, Mikayla Thurman was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
