Trion is 8-2 against Mt. Zion since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will host the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Trion's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Mt. Zion's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Trion is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Manchester get on the board and left with a 23-0 victory on Saturday. Considering the Bulldogs have won 11 contests by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 22 runs the game before, Mt. Zion was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against Osborne, falling 12-2.

The win made it two in a row for Trion and bumps their season record up to 14-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Mt. Zion, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Everything went Trion's way against Mt. Zion when the teams last played back in March, as Trion made off with a 15-0 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
