Soccer Recap: Hope Christian Beats Del Norte for Their Third Straight Win

Hope Christian proved they can win big last Friday (they won by seven) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Del Norte Knights 2-1. Ethan Bigelow had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Hope Christian.

The victory was the third in a row for Hope Christian, bringing their record up to 11-7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matchups. As for Del Norte, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Hope Christian will take on Albuquerque Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Del Norte does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
