Soccer Recap: Lagrange's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

LaGrange was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They skirted past the Troup County Tigers 2-1. Given LaGrange's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Troup County are ranked 258th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Luis Morales and Aidan Collins scored both of LaGrange's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

The victory was the fifth in a row for LaGrange, bringing their record up to 9-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those five matchups. As for Troup County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
