Volleyball Recap: Willmar Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Willmar took on Eagan on Saturday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Willmar's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Eagan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Willmar has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Southwest Christian on the 6th. As for Eagan, they will be playing at home against Lakeville South at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
