Softball Recap: Ringgold Takes a Loss

Rockmart hit Ringgold with a eight-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers lost 13-5 to the Yellowjackets. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost six in a row.

Katy Haddock was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

Ringgold's record now sits at 4-15. As for Rockmart, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
