Marshfield put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 37-8 win over the Hidden Valley Mustangs. The Pirates' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Enoch Niblett had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 56 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 154 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Marshfield's defense and their five sacks. Kaleb Fox refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Marshfield got some further help from Dakota Brophy: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made seven total tackles (1.5 for loss).

Marshfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Hidden Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marshfield is set to take on their familiar foe Henley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Niblett and Joseph Janney. Meanwhile, Hidden Valley will face off against rival North Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
