Football Recap: Paynesville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Paynesville can now relate to. They took a hard 14-0 fall against the Kimball Cubs on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Cubs: they've now lost four in a row.

Paynesville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Kimball, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Paynesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kimball, they will challenge Eden Valley-Watkins on Saturday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so the Cubs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
