Benjamin strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Cherokee Indians, posting a 68-6 victory. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Benjamin's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Cherokee, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Benjamin and Cherokee should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Mustangs will challenge Guthrie at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (9 vs. 164). Meanwhile, Cherokee (ranked 28th) will meet DaVinci (ranked 129th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
