Football Game Preview: Mohawk Area Warriors vs. Western Beaver Golden Beavers

The Mohawk Area Warriors will challenge the Western Beaver Golden Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Mohawk Area didn't have quite enough to beat New Brighton and fell 38-35.

The losing side was boosted by Bobby Fadden, who rushed for 30 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 118 yards and two touchdowns. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Mohawk Area is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise. Lucas Stratton helped out on the ground, rushing for 99 yards.

Meanwhile, Western Beaver put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Ellwood City 27-12. Those 27 points were actually the fewest the Golden Beavers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Western Beaver's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Mohawk Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
