Maywood CES won the last time they faced Sotomayor and things went their way on Thursday too. The Maywood CES Wolfpack enjoyed a cozy 35-17 win over the Sotomayor Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolfpack.

Maywood CES's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alyssa Maldonado, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. With that strong performance, Maldonado is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Carmen Lilly, who posted ten points along with eight boards and six steals.

Maywood CES pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Sotomayor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
