Basketball Recap: Forest Hills Comes Up Short

Forest Hills lost against Westmont Hilltop back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Forest Hills Rangers fell to the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers 56-50.

When it comes to explaining why Forest Hills lost, don't look at Aivah Maul. Despite the final result, she went 9 of 22 to rack up 29 points and three steals. Maul is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. Paxtyn Pcola was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Forest Hills' loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Westmont Hilltop, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Forest Hills will head out to take on Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Bedford: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Forest Hills has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for Westmont Hilltop, they will welcome Central Cambria at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
