Basketball Recap: Port Allegany Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Madison Errick and Jenna Renner

Port Allegany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 43-21 to the Bradford Owls. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 36-17 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Port Allegany's loss came despite strong showings from Jenna Renner and Madison Errick. Renner posted eight points and six rebounds, while Errick put up no points.

Port Allegany's record is now 0-3. As for Bradford, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Port Allegany will host Galeton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bradford, they will venture away from home to face off against Punxsutawney at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Owls their first taste of in-conference action this season.
