Volleyball Recap: King's Ridge Christian Takes a Loss

King's Ridge Christian lost against Mount Vernon back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, King's Ridge Christian sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 16-25, 15-6.

King's Ridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Mount Vernon, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King's Ridge Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The Weber School at 5:00 p.m. on September 9. As for Mount Vernon, they will take on George Walton Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
