Carlisle and Bishop McDevitt are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Bison will head out on the road to challenge the Crusaders at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop McDevitt took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Carlisle, who comes in off a win.
Carlisle barely beat Central Dauphin East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bison's pitcher stepped up to hand the Panthers a 15-0 shutout on Monday. That 15-run margin sets a new team best for the Bison this season.

Bradyn Sober was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Carlisle is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-5 otherwise. Sober was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Curtis Stroud, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Ream, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Carlisle always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Dauphin East only posted an OBP of .214.
Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt fell victim to Hershey and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-0. That's two games in a row now that the Crusaders have lost by exactly two runs.
Carlisle has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Bishop McDevitt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
Carlisle might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Bishop McDevitt in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Bison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
