Recap: South Hills Huskies vs. San Bernardino Cardinals
On Friday, South Hills earned a 46-34 victory over San Bernardino. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Hills.
Despite the defeat, San Bernardino saw an underclassman step up: Laniah Porter dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. Porter scored a full 47.1% of San Bernardino's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Rihanna Scott was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 rebounds and 10 assists.
South Hills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for San Bernardino, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
South Hills will face off against Alhambra at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Alhambra has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. San Bernardino will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Hoover at 1:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
