Soccer Game Preview: Brookwood vs. St. Pius X Catholic

The Brookwood Broncos will venture away from home to challenge the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Brookwood's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Mountain View. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Benjamin Wright was the driving force of Brookwood's attack as he scored both of Brookwood's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Meanwhile, St. Pius X Catholic's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Pope by a score of 2-0.

Brookwood's record is now 2-0. As for St. Pius X Catholic, their record now sits at an identical 2-0.

Brookwood beat St. Pius X Catholic 2-0 in their previous meeting back in February of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brookwood since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
